Catillon-Fumechon is a French municipality with 536 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is part of the Arrondissement Arrondissement Clermont and is part of the canton of Saint-Just-en-Chaussée . The inhabitants are called Catillonais-Fumechonnais .

Catillon-Fumechon is part of the Communauté de communes du Plateau Picard .

geography

Catillon-Fumechon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Wavignies in the north, Ansauvilliers in the north and northeast, Quinquempoix in the northeast, Saint-Just-en-Chaussée in the east and southeast, Nourard-le-Franc in the south and Bucamps in the west.

history

From 1826 to 1834, Remuchon was part of the parish of Catillon. In 1960 Catillon and Fumechon were merged.
