La Rue-Saint-Pierre is a French commune with 809 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Clermont and is part of the canton of Mouy .
geography
The municipality is located between Beauvais and Clermont (Oise) around eleven kilometers west of Clermont and 3.5 kilometers east of Bresles . The national route 31 , which was developed as an expressway, runs north past the place. A section of the historic Chaussée Brunehaut runs through the northern municipality in a west-east direction . Here the railway line to chain the former railway station in the district of La Croix-Rouge Saint-Just-en-Chaussée from the distance of Rochy-Condé to Soissons from; the shutdown took place in several stages from 1954 to 1973.
history
The parish has grown together from the eponymous hamlet and the parish village of Courlieu. Until 1187 the forest of Hez-Froidmont was included. The place was under the rule of the cathedral chapter in Beauvais, while Courlieu formed an independent rule that came to the Vignacourt in the 15th century. In 1732 the area with the neighboring towns of Litz and Étouy came to the Duke of Fitz-James .
