Montiers is a French municipality with 427 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It is located in the Arrondissement of Clermont and is part of the Communauté de communes du Plateau Picard and the canton of Estrées-Saint-Denis ( Saint-Just-en-Chaussée until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Montiérois .
geography
Montiers is located about 22 kilometers east-northeast of Compiègne on the Aronde . Montiers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-aux-Bois in the north, Ménévillers in the northeast, Wacquemoulin in the east, La Neuville-Roy in the south, Pronleroy in the southwest and Léglantiers in the west.
