219th Infantry Division (Wehrmacht)

The 219th Infantry Division (Wehrmacht) was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up on March 22, 1945 in the Den Helder area in the Netherlands . The combined forces never reached division strength. The term division served more to simulate a larger unit than the actually existing unit in the defense area in the Den Helder area.
