3rd Symphony (Henze)

The three-movement 3rd symphony for large orchestra by Hans Werner Henze was written in 1949 and 1950. It was commissioned by Südwestfunk Baden-Baden and was made on the occasion of the Donaueschinger Musiktage on October 7, 1951 by the Südwestfunk Orchestra under the direction of Hans Rosbaud Premiered.
