395th Infantry Division (Wehrmacht)

The 395th Infantry Division was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up on March 16, 1940 in Tilsit in East Prussia . On July 22, 1940, the unit was dissolved again. From the sub-elements of this division, seven home guard battalions were formed to guard prisoners of war .
