The 4.25 mm Liliput is a center fire cartridge that was fired by some pocket pistols from the 1920s. It was developed in Austria by Franz Pfannl for his Erika pistol and came onto the market in 1918. It owes its name to the Lilliput pistol , the most famous weapon of this caliber. It is one of the smallest cartridges ever commercially available. The manufacturers were the Franz Pfannl weapons and ammunition factory and the Hirtenberger cartridge factory . The 4.25 mm Liliput cartridges are out of production and are now expensive collector's items. The case is not reload .

Quotes

It cannot be considered effective for self-defense or any type of hunting. Anyway, she would kill rats and mice at close range. Like all mini cartridges, it can cause serious injury at close range. Its main use would be in indoor practice shooting, but it is too rare and too expensive for that. "
