Crispian Hollis
Roger Francis Crispian Hollis (born November 17, 1936 in Bristol ) is Bishop Emeritus of Portsmouth .
Life
Crispian Hollis was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Clifton on July 11, 1965 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Cincari and auxiliary bishop in Birmingham on February 13, 1987 . The episcopal ordination donated him on May 5 of the same year the Archbishop of Birmingham, Maurice Noël Léon Couve de Murville ; Co- consecrators were Joseph Gray , Bishop of Shrewsbury , and Mervyn Alban Alexander , Bishop of Clifton.
On December 6, 1988, he was appointed Bishop of Portsmouth. On July 11, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
