4-2 system

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 4-2 system is a game variant of volleyball alongside the 5-1 system and the 4-0-2 system .

In the 4-2 system, the team consists of 2 players and 4 attackers. The two actuators are diagonally opposite each other, which means that with each rotation there is always one actuator connected to the network. In contrast to the 4-0-2 system, the player who is in one of the front positions (positions 2, 3 and 4) of the field always takes over the feed. This system is relatively easy to learn, but has the disadvantage that the player can only use 2 attackers as a reference on the network.

The team consists of 3 groups: 2 outside attackers, 2 middle blockers and 2 players who face each other diagonally.
