44 Leningrad (also "Four Four Leningrad") is a folk-punk band (Russian Speed ​​Folk) from Potsdam .

The band was founded in Potsdam in 1990 and is one of the first representatives of post-Soviet punk. The music is a mixture of Russian folklore, polka, punk and ska music. The repertoire consists mainly of fast Russian fighting, folk and worker songs . From 1994, all titles on their albums are given in Russian and German. The singing is in German and Russian. In addition to bass , guitar and drums , clarinet , accordion and the balalaika are used as instruments.
