5 day race

5-day race was an art event that took place in Cologne from October 15 to October 20, 1968 on the occasion of the 2nd Cologne art market in the underground car park under the Josef-Haubrich-Kunsthalle . The participating artists were Gabor Altorjay, Alfred Feussner, Mauricio Kagel and Wolf Vostell . With the name Labor e. V. to research acoustic and visual events , they had formed a group. With the participation of the audience, happenings and actions took place. LIDL was represented as a guest .

Paul Karalus made a film about the 5-day race with the title: Vostell and others or lipsticks for Vietnam . WDR, 1969.
