666 - Satan ( jap. 666〜 サ タ ン 〜 ) is a manga series by the Japanese artist Seishi Kishimoto . It can be assigned to the Shōnen genre.

The girl Ruby Crescent wants to become a world-famous archaeologist, just like her father did before he disappeared from the scene. She wants to find O-Parts, relics from ancient times that are powerful weapons for those who can use them. The so-called OPTs (O-Part Tacticians) are therefore interested in Ruby's O-Part that her father left her and so she is delighted when the somewhat strange boy Jio becomes her bodyguard. He has a very lonely past, is a bit naive and wants to conquer the world. In the course of her journey, Ruby realizes that Jio harbors the power of Satan, an evil being whose wearer can also use O-Parts. However, the boy himself is not aware of this fact. Together with other companions, Ruby and Jio want to find out what O-Parts actually are and where they come from and what connection there is with Satan. There are also some ominous people Jio still has to convince of his ambitions for world domination.

Publications

666 - Satan has been published in Japan since 2001 in monthly chapters in the manga magazine Shōnen Gangan . These individual chapters have been summarized by the Square Enix publishing house in 19 anthologies so far and ended with this (Chapter 76).

The manga was published in France, South Korea and North America (as O-Parts-Hunter ) , among others .
