7 For All Mankind is a jeans brand from the USA . It has existed since 2000. It was founded by Michael Glasser, Peter Koral and Jerome Dahan. Initially, women’s jeans were made, since 2002 there have also been men’s and since 2005 children's jeans of this label. The name came about after research found that US citizens own an average of seven pairs of jeans. 7 for all mankind are available in over 80 countries. In terms of price, they are located in the premium segment and cost around 250 euros each in Europe (as of November 2015).

According to the Financial Times Deutschland , sales in 2002 were around $ 60 million and profits were $ 20 million. The company was bought in 2005 by the American investment company Bear Stearns Merchant Banking, the price should have been about 100 million dollars. The office of Chief Executive Officer was transferred to Andreas Kurz; at that time the company had sales of approximately $ 250 million. In July 2007 the company was bought by the VF Corporation .
