The A-HEAT Allied Heat Exchange Technology AG , headquartered in Fuerstenfeldbruck is a German company and specializes in refrigeration and air conditioning and process engineering.

The group acts as a holding company for the Güntner Group companies in the EMEA (Europe / Middle East / Africa), NLA (North & Latin America) and APO (Asia & Pacific Ocean) regions and has production sites in Hungary, Germany, Romania and Mexico , Indonesia and Brazil.

The subsidiaries produce lamellar ( Güntner ), plate ( thermowave ) and hybrid heat exchangers ( JAEGGI ); basetec is active in the OEM sector.

The company goes back to the Güntner Group: In 1931, Hans Güntner founded a one-man workshop for the repair of cooling machines. During the Second World War, his company was classified as important to the war effort. After the war he was able to start manufacturing cooling systems with his workshop that had remained intact. In 1972 the American company Sundstrand took over Hans Güntner GmbH. In 1978 Sundstrand sold the company to the then managing director as part of a management buyout . In 1981 the company moved from Germering to Fürstenfeldbruck , where the international headquarters have been located ever since.
