A-Hmao

The A-Hmao (alternative names : Big Flowery-Miao and Flowery-Miao ) are an ethnic group of the Miao nationality in the People's Republic of China .

They originally come from the Chinese provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan . Some of them now also live in Guizhou . The number of A-Hmao exceeds 400,000.

They speak the Miao language, Hmong Dian , which is officially called the dialect of Miao by the Chinese authorities. They used to live in slavery for the Nosu Yi .

Many of the A-Hmao are Christians and there is a New Testament in their language.
