Also known as Ireton's Way, the A142 road ( English for road A142 ) is a primary route in England, which runs from Newmarket on the A1304 road via the bypass of the A11 road and the A14 road to the northeast to Soham and south past the cathedral city of Ely , where the A10 road is crossed, via Mepal to Chatteris , where it meets and ends at the A141 road coming from Huntingdon .
