Mitsubishi AAM-5

The AAM-5 developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is a short-range air-to-air missile that is currently in the test phase (XAAM-5). It was planned that the AAM-5 would enter service in 2008 and then gradually replace the AAM-3 . The weapon is very similar to the IRIS-T .
