ACTApro is an archive software that is used to develop and manage archive material. ACTApro was developed in 2006 by startext GmbH in cooperation with the Historical Archive of the City of Cologne. ACTApro is used in small and large municipal, church, university and company archives in Germany and Austria.

ACTApro has a modular structure and all access masks can be flexibly adapted. ACTApro consists of four modules: ACTApro Desk (registration module), ACTApro Magazin (access and location management), ACTApro usage (reading room module) and startext SORI (module for OAIS- compliant digital long-term archiving). ACTApro fulfills the description principles ISAD (G) and ISAAR (CPF) and uses archival XML standard exchange formats ( SAFT-XML , EAD (DDB), EAD , METS ). ACTApro is OAIS (Open Archival Information System) compliant.
