Cities in Motion 2 is an economic simulation published on April 2, 2013 by the computer game developer Colossal Order . As with its predecessor Cities in Motion (CiM), the publisher is the Swedish company Paradox Interactive .

The player takes on the role of the boss of a transport company and builds a public transport network in large cities.

Gameplay

As in the previous game, the aim of the game is to build a profitable transport company within a large city. The usual vehicles, buses , trams and underground trains are available to him as a means of transport , but also water taxis and trolleybuses . However, there are no longer any helicopters . With the DLC Marvelous Monorails you can now also build monorails or monorails. In order to build the transport network, the player builds tracks and provides them as well as roads and rivers with stops for the respective means of transport, thereby creating transport lines . By adjusting the fare and employee salaries, the popularity and thus also the occupancy of the company can be regulated.

particularities

The day-night cycle was built into a CiM game for the first time, primarily illustrating the advancing time, but also making it possible to create timetables and the rush hour .

Extensions

As with the last title, there are again extensions. The content is only available as a download.
