The Achterhoek Berkelland Rallye is a car rally in the Achterhoek in 2019. Eibergen acted as the start and end point of the rally, which stretched east and west of Eibergen in the municipality of Berkelland . The Achterhoek Berkelland Rally is part of the Dutch championship rally, specifically the short rally championship in 2020.
history
The Achterhoek Berkelland Rally is organized by the Stichting Rallysport Achterhoek. The rally takes place in Eibergen and is completely driven in the municipality of Berkelland. The first edition of the rally took place on October 5, 2019.
Breed characteristics
The Achterhoek Berkelland Rally consisted of three different special stages in 2019. These classification tests were entirely within the Berkelland parish around the cores Rekken , Beltrum and Eibergen . On the way, the participants pass different surfaces, from concrete paths to gravel, from asphalt to clinker and from sand to split. The start and finish of the Achterhoek Berkelland Rally is in the open-air theater in Eibergen.
The kilometers driven are driven on so-called special stages: a closed route on which the participating rally team tries to drive as quickly as possible from start to finish. The duration of this leads to a CP time. All KP times achieved together determine the total time on which the ranking is based - with or without penalty time surcharge. The racing kilometers that are not driven at speed are driven on the so-called connecting routes. Connection routes lead the participants to and from the various placement tests of the rally or to a so-called service area: a place where the participants can tinker with their race car within a certain period of time at set times. The participants must comply with the usual traffic rules on the connection routes, which means that no time monitoring is required for the classification on this route.
