The AO Proodeftiki ( Greek : Αθλητικός Όμιλος Προοδευτική, sports club Proodeftiki) is a Greek football club based in Nikea , Piraeus . It was founded in 1927 in Nikea, Piraeus. In addition to the football department, the club also offers sports such as basketball and volleyball.

In the 1959/60 season, the club was promoted to the first Greek league for the first time. The greatest success so far was fourth place in the Greek league in the 1964/65 season.

The club colors have always been dark red and white. The club colors are also the basis for the nicknames of Proodeftiki. The club's nicknames are, The Queen Piraeus and The Dark Red . The logo of the club is the ancient mythical bird, the phoenix .
