Champcevinel ( Occitan : Champ Savineu ) is a commune with 2,880 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Administratively it belongs to the Arrondissement of Périgueux and is part of the canton of Trélissac (until 2015: canton of Périgueux-Nord-Est ). The inhabitants are called Champcevinellois .
geography
Champcevinel is a banlieue in the north of Périgueux . Champcevinel is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Agonac in the north, Cornille in the northeast, Trélissac in the east, Périgueux in the south, and Château-l'Évêque in the west.
