Trélissac ( Occitan : trélissac ) is a commune with 6658 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Administratively it belongs to the Arrondissement of Périgueux and is part of the canton of Trélissac . The inhabitants are called Trélissacois .

The river Isle forms the southern boundary of the municipality, which is a banlieue of Périgueux .

Trélissac is surrounded by the neighboring communities Cornille in the north, Antonne-et-Trigonant in the northeast, Bassillac in the southeast, Boulazac in the south, Périgueux in the southwest and Champcevinel in the west.

The National Route 21 runs through the municipality .
