Boulazac Isle Manoire since 1 January 2016 a French commune nouvelle in the department of Dordogne , Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine , with 10,635 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Périgeux and the canton of Isle-Manoire .

It emerged from the merger of Atur , Boulazac and Saint-Laurent-sur-Manoire . On January 1, 2017, Sainte-Marie-de-Chignac joined the municipality.

geography

Boulazac Isle Manoire is located about five kilometers east-southeast of the city center of Périgueux on the Isle , into which the Manoire flows here, and is surrounded by the neighboring communities Trélissac in the north, Bassillac et Auberoche in the east and northeast, Saint-Pierre-de-Chignac in the east and South-east, La Douze in the south-east, Lacropte in the south, Sanilhac in the south and west and Périgueux in the north-west.

The decree of December 14, 2015 enabled the establishment of the Commune Nouvelle on January 1, 2016.
