The (total) population of the municipality of La Tour-Blanche-Cercles was determined by adding up the municipalities that were independent until the end of 2016.

The continuous decline in population of the places involved in the 20th century is mainly due to the phylloxera crisis in viticulture and the mechanization of agriculture ; In addition, there is the ongoing abandonment of small farms.

economy

The community is still largely dominated by agriculture and forestry, whereby viticulture , which was important in earlier times, only plays a subordinate role. Small traders, craftsmen and service providers have settled in the village. Since the 1960s, some of the vacant houses have been rented out as holiday apartments ( gîtes ) .
