Attractions
- The outwardly unadorned, largely still Romanesque church of Sainte-Marie was built in the 11th and 12th. Century and was originally a priory church because of its size and the predominantly precise stone work. The church building has a flat end of the choir and a recessed baroque bell gable (clocher mur) ; the west portal - probably built in later - is crowned by a pointed arch . The nave is vaulted; the yoke in front of the choir is domed . In the choir there are remains of frescoes from the 14th and 16th centuries; a Christ-bearing Christophorus can still be recognized. The church has been recognized as a monument historique since 1913 .
- The Château de Tinteillac dates from the 15th and 17th centuries. While one of the two late medieval towers still ends with a battlement , the residential wing ( logis ) was later renovated in simple Renaissance forms . In the course of the French Revolution , the country castle was partially destroyed, but a pigeon house (colombier) built on a circular floor plan has survived the time.
