The French community Paussac-et-Saint-Vivien ( Occitan Pauçac e Sent Bébian ) is in the northwest of the department Dordogne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). It has 468 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and belongs to the canton of Brantôme (until 2015: canton of Montagrier ). The inhabitants are called Paussacois-et-Saint-Vivianais .
geography
Paussac-et-Saint-Vivien is located about 23 kilometers northwest of Périgueux (as the crow flies) on the Euche and the Boulou River . Paussac-et-Saint-Vivien is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mareuil en Périgord in the north and northwest, Brantôme en Périgord in the northeast, Saint-Julien-de-Bourdeilles in the east, Bourdeilles in the east and southeast, Creyssac in the south, Grand-Brassac in the Southwest as well as Saint-Just in the west.
