ASC Snim ( Arabic الجمعية الرياضية والثقافية لاسنيم, DMG al-Ǧamʿiyya ar-riyāḍiyya wa-ṯ-ṯaqāfiyya li-Snīm ) is a Mauritanian football club from Cansado, a district eight kilometers south of Nouadhibou , where mainly workers from the SNIM , a state-owned mining company , live. The club currently plays in Ligue 1 Mauritania . The two championships in 2009 and 2010 are considered to be the greatest success. From 2009 to 2012 the club was called CF Cansado (Club de Football de Cansado) , in 2012 it was bought by the SNIM and has had its current name since then.
