CAF Champions League 2008

The CAF Champions League 2008 started on February 15, 2008 with the first round and ended on November 16, 2008 with the final second leg between Cotonsport Garoua from Cameroon and al Ahly Cairo from Egypt . The title was won for the third time in the last four years by Al-Ahly, who won the first leg 2-0 at home and a 2-2 in the second leg in Garoua. With a total of six titles, Al-Ahly is now the sole record winner of the CAF Champions League.

A total of 58 teams from 54 regional associations took part in the tournament.
