CAF Champions League 2005

The CAF Champions League 2005 began on January 28, 2005 with the preliminary round and ended on November 12, 2005 with the final second leg between Étoile Sportive du Sahel from Tunisia and Al-Ahly Cairo from Egypt . The winner was Al-Ahly, who won the second leg in Sousse 3-0 after a 0-0 draw in the first leg . This was the club's fourth success in the CAF Champions League.

A total of 52 teams from 40 regional associations took part in the tournament.
