CAF Champions League 2006

The CAF Champions League 2006 began on February 17, 2006 with the first round and ended on November 11, 2006 with the final second leg between CS Sfax from Tunisia and al Ahly Cairo from Egypt . The winner was Al-Ahly, who won the second leg in Sfax 1-0 after a 1-1 draw in the first leg . This was the club's fifth success in the CAF Champions League.

A total of 61 teams from 50 regional associations took part in the tournament.
