East End Lions is a football club based in Freetown , the capital of Sierra Leone . The club was founded in 1928 and has been the country's record champions with eleven championship titles since 1980. By 1980 the club won six more championship titles from various regional and national leagues. In addition, the club won the national cup competition three times . Their home is the National Stadium .
The East End Lions took part in the CAF Champions League four times (1998, 2006, 2010 and 2011) to represent their country.
