The 2019 Sierra Leone Premier League season ran from late January to July 2019. It was the first edition since 2015, again under the umbrella of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA). The league was sponsored for the first time by the Sierra Leone government with at least $ 230,000 , but possibly US $ 400,000. East End Lions from Freetown won the championship without defeat .
14 teams were invited to participate. The FC Johansen of the controversial SLFA President Isha Johansen canceled his participation before the start of the season.
