Egyptian Premier League 2017/18

The 2018/19 Egyptian Premier League was the 62nd season of the Egyptian Premier League , the highest Egyptian championship in football since its inception in 1948/49 . The season started on July 31, 2018, and ended on July 28, 2019.

al Ahly Cairo was able to defend his championship title and thus achieve his 41st Egyptian championship title. Tanta SC , El Raja Marsa Matruh and Al Nasr SC have not been represented in Egypt's top division since the previous season . Nogoom FC , Haras El-Hodood SC and El Guna FC were promoted from the Egyptian Second Division 2017/18 . Alassiouty Sport changed its name and has been called Pyramids FC since June 2018 .
