The Egyptian Premier League 1972/73 was the 18th season of the Egyptian Premier League , the highest Egyptian championship in football . Champion was Ghazl El Mahallah SC for the first time , due to the increase in the league to 18 teams, there was no relegation. Al-Sekka Al-Hadid and Suez El-Riyadi were no longer represented in the top division . Olympic El Qanah FC and El-Plastic were new to the top division .
