Egyptian Premier League 2008/09

The Egyptian Premier League 2009/10 was the 53rd season of the Egyptian Premier League , the highest Egyptian championship in football since its inception in 1948/49 .

The climbers from the Egyptian Second Division 2008/09 were El-Entag El-Harby , El Mansoura SC and El Gouna FC . Itesalat , Tersana SC and El-Olympi are no longer represented in Egypt's top division . The defending champion is al Ahly Cairo .
