The Egyptian Premier League 1961/62 was the 12th season of the Egyptian Premier League , the highest Egyptian championship in football . Champion was al Ahly Cairo for the second time in a row , al-Ittihad Al-Sakndary was new to the league and there was no relegation. No longer represented in the top division was Ghazl El Mahallah SC .
