The Egyptian Premier League 2013/14 is the 57th season of the Egyptian Premier League , the highest Egyptian championship in football since its inception in 1948/49 .

Participating teams

A total of 65 different teams took part in the championship since 1948/49 , but only al Ahly Kairo and al Zamalek SC managed to participate in all championships.

The group winners and runners-up qualify for the championship play-off, the teams in ranks ten and eleven are relegated, the teams in ninth rank take part in a relegation against relegation.
