The Egyptian Premier League 1975/76 was the 20th season of the Egyptian Premier League , the highest Egyptian championship in football . Champion became al Ahly Cairo for the 13th time , the number of teams was increased from 18 to 24. Olympic El Qanah FC , Domiat Club , Belquas , Bani Sweif FC , Tanta FC , Sharkia SC , Factory 36 , Meniya Club and Ittihad El-Shorta were relegated. New in the top division were Esco FC , Belquas, Kafr El-Shaikh , Tanta FC, Factory 37 and Ittihad El-Shorta.

The 24 teams were divided into two groups of twelve teams each, with each team within a group playing twice against every other team in the same group. The two group winners played a championship playoff in two legs, the winner of this playoff was the Egyptian champions.
