The 2010/11 Egyptian Premier League was the 54th season of the Egyptian Premier League , the highest Egyptian championship in football since its introduction in 1948/49 .
The newcomers from the Egyptian Second Division 2009/10 were Wadi Degla FC , Smouha Sporting Club and Misr El-Makasa . No longer represented in Egypt's top division are Ghazl El Mahalla SC , El Mansoura SC and Asyut Petroleum . The defending champion is al Ahly Cairo .
