The CAF Confederation Cup 2012 was the ninth edition of the second most important competition for African football clubs. This year, a total of 56 teams from 37 of the 59 national associations of the CAF took part in the competition .

The cup began with the first leg of the preliminary round on March 18, 2012 and ended with the second leg of the final on November 25, 2012. This year, the AC Léopards won with a 4: 3 (2: 2 2: 1) victory in the final against Djoliba AC for the first time the title.
