Association Sportive Dragons Football Club de l'Ouémé is a Beninese football club from Porto-Novo .

history

The club is the record champion of the Championnat du Bénin with 12 championship titles. The team also won the National Cup six times. In the 1987 season, the Dragons de l'Oueme reached the semi-finals of the African Cup Winners' Cup with their dream team made up of the stars Abédi Pelé , Peter Rufai , Bashirou Gangbo and Kingston Ashabi, under the direction of the then club president Moucharaf Gbadamassi . In the decisive semi-final, however, the Dragons lost the game against Kenyan champions Gor Mahia with 2: 3.
