Gor Mahia Football Club ( Gor Mahia FC or K'ogalo for short ) is a Kenyan football club from Nairobi that is named after the freedom fighter Gor Mahia K'ogalo . The club plays its home games at the Nairobi City Stadium .

Gor Mahia FC was formed on February 17, 1968 through a merger of the soccer clubs Luo Union and Luo Stars. Co-founder was the politician Tom Mboya , the first president was Zack Ramogo. The first game of Gor Mahia took place before the 1968 season against the Ugandan team Express FC .

The club won the championship right from the first appearance in the Kenyan Premier League . There are now a total of 16 titles, most recently in the 2017 season.
