history

On April 27, 1947, the Club Sportif Bété was founded, the statutes were adopted on August 27, thereby enabling participation in the 1947/48 season. In September 1948 the name was changed to the current name. The Afrique Sports version had previously been selected; other proposals had been Étoile Polaire and Racing Club de l'Ouest .

Africa Sports had its greatest successes in the 1980s when the championship was dominated and the national cup could be won several times.
