The association, founded in 1940, is the most successful in its country. He achieved ten championship titles since 1976 and six cup victories since 1974. In the African competitions, however, he was not successful. The best success was reaching the 2nd round in 1994 in the African Cup of Champions Clubs and reaching the quarter-finals in 1975 in the African Cup Winners' Cup .
