The Gamtel Football Club (also Gamtel / Gamcel ) is a sports club from Banjul , the capital of the West African state of Gambia . The association is the works team of the Gambian telecommunications company Gambia Telecommunications Company (Gamtel).
The club is best known for its soccer team, which plays in the highest Gambian league, the GFA League First Division . Gamtel FC first appeared in the 1998/99 season, when they were playing in the second division.
The club's greatest successes were winning the championship in 2015 and 2018 and the cup competition ( GFA-Cup ) in 2011.

(Beach volleyball
The club also has a volleyball and beach volleyball department .
For the women, Sainabou Tambedou , Louis Joof and Anna Marie Bojang played for the national beach volleyball team.
For men, Amadou Jarju and Malick Jammeh won the national beach volleyball championship in 2018/2019. Sanu Secka and Alieu Barry were members of the national beach volleyball team.
