CAF Super Cup 1993

The first , as yet unofficial, competition took place in January 1993 between the winner of the African Cup of Champions Club 1992 Wydad Casablanca (Morocco) and the winner of the African Cup Winners' Cup 1992 Africa Sports Nacional (Ivory Coast).

The 11th edition of the competition took place in February 2003 between the winner of the CAF Champions League 2002 Zamalek SC from Cairo (Egypt) and the winner of the African Cup Winners' Cup 2002 Wydad Casablanca (Morocco). CAF Super Cup 2007

The 15th edition of the competition took place in February 2007 between the winner of the CAF Champions League 2006 Al-Ahly Cairo (Egypt) and the winner of the CAF Confederation Cup 2006 Étoile Sportive du Sahel from Sousse (Tunisia). Al-Ahly was able to defend its title from the previous year as the second team at all and won his third Supercup title after 2002 and 2006 on his fourth appearance in the final.
