Bernard Simondi

Bernard Simondi (born July 28, 1953 in Toulon ) is a French football coach and former football player. He is currently training the Algerian first division club JS Saoura .
From 1972 to 1985 he played as a professional in the first two French leagues for the clubs from Toulon, Stade Laval , FC Tours and AS Saint-Étienne .
As a coach, he was responsible for the Beninese and Burkinabe national teams and the Tunisian club ES Sahel from Sousse . He later became Ruud Krol's assistant coach at AC Ajaccio in France.
In July 2015, he worked for two years as head coach at the Algerian first division club JS Saoura .
