The Al-Gharafa Stadium (also called Thani Bin Jassim Stadium , Arabic ملعب ثاني بن جاسم, DMG Malʿab Ṯānī b. Ǧāsim orملعب الغرافة / Malʿab al-Ġarāfa ) is a football stadium in the municipality of ar-Rayyan west of the Qatari capital Doha . It was built in 2003 and has a capacity of 25,000 spectators. The main users of the stadium are the football clubs al-Gharafa SC and Umm-Salal SC , which play their home games in the Qatar Stars League there .

The stadium was one of five venues for the 2011 Asian Cup . For the year 2022 it was originally intended as a venue for the soccer world championship . The planned conversion, which should increase the capacity to 44,740, does not take place either, it remains with a capacity of 25,000 spectators.
