Rami Rabia ( Arabic رامي ربيعة, DMG Rāmī Rabīʿa ; * May 20, 1993 in Cairo ) is an Egyptian soccer player who plays as a central defender for the Egyptian Premier League club Al Ahly and the Egyptian national soccer team.

Career

He began his career at Al Ahly and made his professional debut in 2010 at the age of seventeen. Considered one of the best talents in Egyptian football, he caught the attention of several clubs. Therefore, he switched to Sporting CP in 2014 for 750,000 euros . After one season, however, he returned to Al Ahly for the same amount, where he immediately had a regular place again and was Egyptian champions several times with his team .

National team

Rabia represented the Egyptian U20 national team and led the team to victory in the 2013 U-20 Africa Cup . He made his senior team debut in December 2012 during a friendly against Qatar .
